Health care is essential for all people, no matter the sex, gender identity, age, or race. There are many struggles when it comes to receiving quality health care when you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community (see the latest research in References below). Marginalized populations tend to receive judgement and a lack of understanding and knowledge from mental health and primary care providers. This can be due to a lack of LGBTQ+ training and education for health care providers in the US, as well as the inability to give the specialized social and psychological considerations necessary to provide intelligent and nuanced care.

At Emerge we strive to give you the best quality care for everything you may need. We do annual physical exams (including cervical screenings), gender affirming care, provide mental health counseling, IV therapy, testosterone replacement therapy and whatever else you may need. We have caring practitioners who’ve received the essential training and understand how to care for the LGBTQ+ community. If you would like to have a free 10-minute phone consultation with any of our practitioners to see if we can provide the care you need, please call our office at (360) 787-3615. Get on your way to well-being!
